As per Guidelines issued vide circular Dated 20 Aug, 2019 committee for the protection of children from Sexual offences under POCSO Act has been setup.
Objective of the committee
-
To promote a safe and positive environment in school, conducive for learning and development in partnership with children in line with ‘The protection of Children from Sexual Offences’ (POCSO) Act 2012 guidelines.

To ensure compliance in line with and define practices for the same.

To set in place mechanism for awareness, redressal, maintaining and review of the implementation of the child protections standard.

As per the guidelines issued vide CBSE circular Date 12 September, 2017 different Committee for redressal of grievance have been set up.
Objective of the committee
-
To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stake holders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.

A Grievance cell has been constituted for the Redressal of the problems reported by the students of the school with the members of the committee who can be contacted for redressal of grievance.

Objective of the committee
•To create a secure physical social environment to defer any act of sexual harassment and to promote a social and psychological environment to raise awareness on sexual harassment in various forms.
Disciplinary Committee
Introduction - To create a positive support system to provide a safe, engaging and supportive school environment necessary for effective learning, safety and discipline during school hours.
Scope - All students from classes Nursery to XII fall under the purview of this policy. This policy applies to all students, while on school property, during a school related activity including, but not limited to; in the school buses, bus stops, school sponsored events, field trips, athletic function and any other activity organized by the school. This policy also applies to off campus incidents involving school students in events authorized by the school and accompanied by the school staff.
Purpose-The purpose of this policy is to establish and communicate to staff, parents and students the community, disciplinary procedures and guidelines for adherence to the norms (M.R. Citi Code of Conduct) of the school.
DISCIPLINE FLOW CHART
Disciplinary Behaviour's Reported.
Verbal Reprimand Note in class and students Diary.
Note in class and Students Diary (Form filled) to be duly signed by parents.
Red Card warning letter to be issued to stduent.
2nd Red Card warning letter & a suspenssion notice of 7 days will be served.
Persistent misbehavior of child could lead to sent back home / suspended / expelled from school.

Anti-Bullying Committee
This policy prevents bullying at M.R. CITI Public School. All our students have the right to work in an environment which is safe from intimidation and in which any type of bullying is not acceptable.
Definition
Bullying is an aggressive behaviour that is intentional and that involves an imbalance of power or strength. The definition includes a wide range of behaviour whether verbal, written, physical or social, targeting a person or property.
M.R.CITI Aims
1. To promote a secure and happy environment that is free from threat, harassment and any type of bullying behaviour.
2. To increase the awareness of bullying behaviour in the school community as whole.
To devise school based measures to prevent and deal with bullying behaviour.
To inform pupils and parents of the schools expectations and to foster a productive partnership which helps to maintain bully free environment.
5. To make aware of their role in fostering knowledge and attitudes that will be required to achieve the above aims.
Preventive Measures
Procedure for dealing with incidents of bullying behaviour. The following are the steps taken to support and respond to the needs of both bullied and bullying pupils.
1. Proper record maintenance.
2. Appropriate Action to be taken.
Contacting parents of all pupils concerned in the bullying incidents
1. Investigation.
2. Feedback given to the concerned.
Sanctions.
Connecting referent professionals e.g. school counsellor Anti Bullying Committee and Coordinators.
Continuous professional development of staff
Workshops, awareness sessions are organised by school to sensitize staff members for perversions of bullying and reporting bullying incident within classrooms and playground.
Complaint boxes are also installed at different locations. Feedback is collected from the disciplinary incharges to take appropriate action.
